Lorette’s Story

Our owner, Lorette Kalender, knows this journey personally. Her story isn’t just about business it’s about healing, growth, and rediscovering herself.

Life threw some incredibly hard moments her way: losing both parents, navigating menopause, and being diagnosed with discoid lupus, a condition that affected her skin, hair, and confidence. Lupus brought hair loss, scarring, flare-ups, and a constant search for products that didn’t make things worse.

Maybe you know what that feels like trying product after product, hoping something gentle will finally help. Lorette lived that struggle.

Through years of searching, she found comfort in natural, eco-friendly ingredients. These discoveries helped her rebuild not just her routine, but her wellbeing. And that journey is exactly what fuels her passion today: creating shampoo bars, conditioner bars, and skincare that are truly gentle, safe, and effective for real people of all ages.

With over 20 years of experience helping run her family’s company, Pharmaspa, Lorette now brings that knowledge botanical extracts, therapeutic benefits, natural formulations straight into Mountain Sky.
