Frustrated by Soaps That Strip Your Skin?
You've probably noticed it: that tight, dry feeling after washing your hands or showering. Most soaps are packed with synthetic detergents, sulfates, and fillers that strip your skin of its natural oils. They might lather fast, but they leave behind irritation, residue, and a long list of ingredients you can't pronounce. And when they rinse down the drain, they take a toll on our rivers, lakes, and soil.
At Mountain Sky, we believe clean should never come at the cost of your health or the planet. Our natural liquid castile soap is made the traditional way with plant oils and natural glycerin, plus pure essential oils in the scented versions. It's gentle on your skin, safe for your pets, and kind to the environment, with no petrochemicals, no SLS, and no synthetic thickeners.
Switch once and feel the difference. Choose one of our essential oil scents, or go fragrance-free with our unscented castile soap.
What is Castile Soap?
Originally from the Castile region of Spain, Castile soap has been used for centuries as a gentle, effective cleaner for both personal care and household use. Castile soap is a true soap made from plant-based oils, traditionally olive oil, that's created by combining natural oils with an alkali (sodium hydroxide for solid soap or potassium hydroxide for liquid soap) through the classic soap-making process.
Modern versions, like Mountain Sky Soap's, may use a blend of vegetable oils, but the principle remains the same: simple ingredients, real soap chemistry, and natural glycerin left intact for a milder, more moisturizing cleanse. It is free of detergents, synthetic foaming agents, petrochemicals, sugar thickeners, or artificial antibacterials.
